Pro Staffing Solutions application Job Application Job Application 0% Complete1 of 10 Pro Staffing Solutions Rules and Standards of Conduct All associates are urged to become familiar with Pro Staffing Solutions (PSS) rules and standards of conduct and are expected to follow these rules and standards faithfully in doing their own job assignments and conducting business through the company. 1 Background check and drug testing: PSS reserves the right to perform an initial drug and background check on all applicants. Commercial drivers involved in safety sensitive functions will be required to administer to a pre-employment drug screen as well as ongoing random testing for as long as their employment lasts through PSS. 2 Orientation: All new employees at PSS will undergo an orientation presented to them either by a PSS associate or via video. The formal orientation will include our company overview, our rules and standards of conduct, summary of content from the employee handbook, and actions to take pertaining to safety. 3 Safety: The safety and health of all associates is a priority. PSS makes every effort to insure your safety; however each associate is expected to obey safety rules and exercise caution and common sense in all work activities. If you are unsure of any safety procedures, you are encouraged to ask the supervisor that is on duty at your current assignment. 4 Attendance and Punctuality: PSS expects all associates to be ready to work at the beginning of each day for each assignment that the associate accepts. An associate’s work schedule is determined by the specific client in whom they are assigned to. 5 Absenteeism and Tardiness: PSS is aware that emergencies, illnesses, or pressing personal business may arise. It is the responsibility of the associate to contact PSS in a reasonable time frame (preferably 24hr notice) of expected absence. If a phone call and conversation does not take place with a PSS staff member (voicemails and text are not acceptable forms of communication) it will be considered a No Call No Show and proper accountability will take place for each consecutive offense. All associates must contact PSS as soon as the associate knows they will be late. Habitual lateness to any assignment will result in reprimand up to termination. 6 Use of Equipment: Associates will be provided with the equipment needed to do their job. None of this equipment should be used for personal use, nor shall it be removed from the premises of the company the associate is working for. All equipment will be returned in proper working order including tablets, vehicles, dollies, pallet jacks, and even trailers. 7 Associate Handbook: All associates will receive a copy of the Associate Handbook which reiterates the above mentioned rules and standards as well as the employment policies of PSS. The handbook will be summarized during the onboarding orientation and be the responsibility of the associate to adhere to the policies contained within the Associate Handbook.
